The merino wool we use is wonderfully soft, giving you all the benefits of wool without any scratch. Both pieces are first knit and then felted, creating boiled wool. The felting creates a seamless and durable material that is wind-proof and water resistant and requires little washing (because the natural oils in the wool repel dirt).
The mittens have a sleek fitted shape that is extra long (no gaps between your coat and mitts!) One size fits most. These mittens will start out quite snug and then felt and shape to your hands as you wear them for a custom fit.
If you know that you have larger hands (i.e. you are over 6 feet tall or you wear a women's large glove), or you would like to order a unisex pair for a man, leave us a note at the checkout that you would like a larger pair and that's what we will send!
