Indigo Printing Class

This surface design class takes place over two three hour sessions, either week after week, or all in one day.   Students will learn how to make the specialized thickened indigo paste, then how to use it to create pattern, either with lino cuts, wood blocks or stencils made from freezer paper.  Once the paste has dried, we will put it through the process of fixing it on the fabric, followed by the process to reduce the indigo directly on the class.
