100% Cotton white lightweight fabric, perfect for dyeing

Many fabrics have natural and synthetic sizings and coatings on them that resist dyeing

This Prepared for Dyeing (or PFD) fabric is free of any of these starches, pectins or finishings that may interfere with dyeing, meaning that it doesn't need to be washed or scoured before dyeing it.  It does not contain any mordant, if you are dyeing with a mordant dye, you will still need to do this step.

It is Kona Robert Kaufmann Bleach White.

Weight is quilting or fashion weight,  147.49 gsm 4.35 oz/yd²
