100% wool yarn, used in popular Petite Knit patterns such as the Sophie Scarf, the Key Mittens or Sweater, and the Novice Slipover

This yarn can be left white, or dyed with our line of beginner Natural Dye Kits and Natural Dyes.  It takes the dye beautifully.  Imagine dyeing your own yarn for your next Sophie Scarf?  And with plants!

The Autumn Tweed colour would also dye beautifully, with the flecks of colour shining through whatever shade you choose to dye it.

Wool items are light, warm and very durable. They durable and pill-resistant, and their superior resilience ensures that they keep their shape over time.  Wool is not only insulating, but also wicks moisture away from the body and retains heat even when moist, thanks to the structure of the fibers.

Peer Gynt has been on the market ever since 1938.  Made of Norwegian wool, garments knit from it are light, warm and grow softer every time you wear them. Norwegian wool is durable and pill-resistant, and its superior resilience ensures that garments keep their shape over time.  Wool is breathable and rarely needs washing. Instead, we recommend airing your wool garments. Garments made of Norwegian wool have a long lifespan and can remain just as beautiful for several generations. As a result, Norwegian wool can contribute to more sustainable consumption.
